Welcome to Big Mouth Comics, the third incarnation of M. Jacob Alvarez’s comic site. This site includes the comics Jake has done since 2001 so some are a little dated (ugly). If you are looking for something funny, I suggest “Misanthropy”. Horror fans should enjoy “Prosthetic” or “Sanity”. For more run of the mill action see “Deathless” or “Assassin vs. Necromancer”. 5/26/05 - Oh Lordy, It’s been a while since the last update. The good news is I’ve got several new comics for you. I’ve begun an entirely new series called Holy Sword where I’ve experimented with outlineless drawings. I have some new Misanthropy panels and I’m taking another swing at the adventures of Deathless Dario Greymunde after over two years of absence, this time I might actually put some plot into it. I dunno what I’m going to do next, but rest assured it’ll be something...

9/13/04: So hey, Prosthetic has been up for a while but I just added the link on the comics page. Also up (and fresh on the new button) are seven new Misanthropy comics done for the third BCP comics contest. Wish me luck. I'm actually done penciling the first five page installment of "Holy Sword", which I think is my best art yet. It should be up as soon as I finish the inking. As for what's next, I dunno... Sign the guestbook if there's anything you particularly want to see.

8/7/04: I have finished "Prosthetic", the 24 page horror comic I spent most of the summer working on. I already handed out several printed copies at Otakon and it should be on-line as soon as I get a chance to upload it. My next project will be a few more "Misanthropy" single panel comics, this time drawn in a more cartoony style. After that who knows, maybe "Holy Sword", an idea that's been kicking around in my head for a while. If there are any of my comics you'd like to see another installment of tell me in the guest book and maybe I'll listen.
